Geocache Description:

[CZ] Tato cache je venována bývalému nádraží Zábrdovice.

Zábrdovicke nadrazi lezelo na brehu reky Svitavy v km 2 lokalni trati Brno - Tisnov otevrene roku 1885. Rostouci mnozstvi prepravy a omezeny prostor ve stanici zpusobily ve 20. letech minuleho stoleti nutnost vystavby nakladiste "Radlas" asi pul kilometru smerem na jih od stanice. Konec slavy Zabrdovic znamenala vystavba nove "Tisnovky" pres Malomerice a Obrany v roce 1953. Trasa pres Zabrdovice byla definitivne opustena az v roce 1962, avsak cetne pozustatky jsou ve ctvrtich Zabrdovice a Husovice k videni dodnes. Z arealu nadrazi je nyni skladiste stavebni firmy, vlacky na Radlase existuji dodnes.

[EN] This cache is dedicated to former Zabrdovice railway station. It was located on former Brno - Tisnov line opened 1885. The limited area for the station and rising traffic in 1920s caused the construction of new loading yard "Radlas" about 0,5 km in southern direction. The end of fame of Zabrdovice station came after new "Tisnov" line via Malomerice and Obrany had been opened in 1953. The route via Zabrdovice was definitely abandoned in 1962 but different relicts are visible until nowdays. The station is now used as a warehouse of construction firm, but branch lines on Radlas are still active.

There is no pen in cache and don't forget to remember bonus number "H"
