Travel Bug No-Tell Motel Traditional Geocache
The Fej: After checking on this last week, I saw how difficult this could be in the spring and summer months. A lot of bushwacking through thorns and poison ivy. Far more difficult than it should be for a TB Hotel. Plus Redtanker put the "Outer Limits TB Hotel" not even a mile away from this one, which is now getting all the TB traffic from I-65 travelers (it is in a better spot than this one). So I am moving this to another spot further away. I have several other spots scouted out, so look for the Travel Bug No-Tell Motel to be reopened soon in a new location!

Welcome all road weary Travel Bugs and Geocoins. Welcome
to
The Travel Bug No-Tell
Motel
Ok, the bad news: There's no complimentary breakfast, the sheets
are dirty, there's no ice in the ice machine, the vending machine
is broke, the towels are stained, the shower only has cold water,
you have to jiggle the handle when you flush, the housekeeping crew
can be obnoxious, and there are no scenic views from any of the
rooms. Plus it's next to a busy road, so don't expect a great
nights sleep either.
But the good news is it's right off of I-65, it's only minutes
away from Louisville International Airport, and you can't beat our
rates, (hourly rates are available).
If you're traveling I-65, take the Okolona exit. You'll find our
gravel parking lot on Minors Lane, just off Outerloop. Please
approach the motel from our parking lot and not from Outerloop. Our
motel is made of the finest 50cal ammo can that a few bucks can
buy. Plus we have lots of trade items should you just wish to swap
some swag. And a note to you nice cachers who may want to check one
of our guests out of the motel: it is highly appreciated if you
check in a Travel Bug or Geocoin to the motel when you check
another one out. And don't forget to sign our guestbook while
you're here!
One last note: if visiting our motel in the spring and summer
months, there will be a bit of bushwacking involved. Long pants and
closed-toe shoes are a must during those months. Our motel is much
easier to visit during the fall and winter months, when only a
little bushwacking will be involved.
So come on by and stay awhile at The Travel Bug No-Tell
Motel! We would leave the light on for you, but it burnt
out a long time ago.
