This is where the Llangollen canal leaves the mainline of the Shropshire union canal (shroppie for short) and makes it's 46 mile journey to Llantysilio.
Whenever we cruise this way we have to toss a coin to decide whether to turn and head up the locks, or carry on to cruise towards Wolverhampton.
It's a tough decision as they are both beautiful journeys that rarely touch towns or villages.
The Llangollen canal is also a spectacular journey. It's 44 1/2 miles of navigable water has 21 locks, 2 major aqueducts, 3 tunnels.
And it all starts here who'd of thought it!!
So we just had to mark it's quiet begining didn't we?!
Watch you don't slip walking to the cache as it does get muddy, and although this is a busy junction we think you will be out of the way enough not to get muggled.
So enjoy.
You are looking for a small sized lock 'n' lock container in a camo bag. It's just hanging around waiting for you to find it.
