Located on the beautiful University of Minnesota campus. Terrain park-like and difficulty easy. Altitude is uniform on the lakebed plains of glacial Lake Agassiz (imagine a completely planar surface). Muggles abound so discretion is imperative. Perfect for young geocachers!

Permits are required to park on campus on weekdays during the academic term but generally only enforced from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There are few parking restrictions during weekends and breaks in the academic year (e.g., summer). Free visitor permits are available at the Business Affairs Office, 121 Selvig Hall. A short-term parking pull-out is available during the snow-free months at 47.80050N, 96.61007W – it is in sight of the cache and does not require a permit.
The University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) is a public, baccalaureate, coeducational institution and a coordinate campus of the University of Minnesota. NOTE! Winter visitors may need their boots - the cache is accessible but a good 50 feet from the nearest street or sidewalk where snow is removed.
