Geocache Description:

Located at lower Ruselokka in the Frogner district of Oslo.

My Mother grew up here in Oslo on Nobels gate near Bygdøy alle. We spent Christmas there at my Grandparents place in 1988. It was the last time I got to see my Bestemor and Bestefar. This Xmas cache is in remembrance of that Christmas with her and them.

Nobels gate is where the U.S. Ambassador's residence is located, but in the world we live in today it is NOT a suitable location for a cache.

So the cache is about 1,3 kilometers from my Grandparents place, close to the sea between a classic Oslo neighborhood from the late 1800s and 21st century developments.
The site overlooks a now-defunct railway line and a train parking site where the trains sleep at night.
The cache is accessible from the sidewalk. No need to go near the railroad (NSB) area, which is closed off anyway. However, muggles in railway uniform may emerge suddenly from the NSB area.

Note: Please be aware of muggles both on the ground and above and use stealth in retrieving and replacing the cache.

Update Jan 18,2015: The cache is in a fully accessible location.

This is an International exchange cache. Mostly Moose will be maintaining this cache and in exchange, I will be maintaining his cache here in California

Please log your Find or Did Not Find online so I will know how the cache is doing.

Note: I don't speak Norwegian or German just English so please leave your log in English if you can. If you don't speak English that's OK, use your native language and I will continue to use an online translator. Thanks
