The co-ordinates are not for the cache but for a convenient car park near the junction of Holly Lane and Outwood Lane in Chipstead Valley. The 5 mile Banstead Countryside Walk starts from the car park.
The nearby Banstead Woods is ancient woodland which covers an area of 250 acres and is one of the most valuable woodlands in Surrey. In the spring a spectacular display of bluebells can be seen. If you have a dog please be aware that there may be grazing animals.
Some of the paths can become very slippery during wet weather. You may find the local Dorking & Reigate OS map useful to find the cache.
The Ramblers Rest PH on Outwood Lane makes a pleasant stopping place before or after the cache.
