Oaky
Pokey
This
cache is located in the Fillongley
area. To find it you will need to solve the meaning of the
enigmatic little story below. It is a tricky one, so you may have
to phone a friend or two! The provided co ordinates are for
convenient parking and not the cache location. Also note that the photograph does
not depict the actual oak. The route to the cache is likely to be
quite muddy following rain.
N52,
then
We got
the third one from Basildon, then off to Exeter for the fourth
. Back up to
Macclesfield for the first , or we could
have gone to Rotherham. We fancied a long trip so off we
went to Shetland for the fifth , then
all the way back to Salisbury for the second .
W001,then
Feeling
quite worn out, we then had to trek to Langholm for the sixth, then
off at a pace to Stonehaven for yet
another third. The
wizard suggested going off to Lea Valley where we could have had a third or a
fourth , and needed another third so
caught the ferry to the Isle of Man . Our final journey took us right up
to Ripon for a fourth. Phew!
The
cache itself is a 0.4 litre screw topped container. Inside is the
usual assortment of goodies, including the wykenwizard trademark Sir Galahad of
Warwick non trackable coin which the first to find may wish
to keep as a souvenir. As the cache name suggests, you
will have to poke around the oak to find the cache.
