Located in the Jerrabomberra wetlands the terrain is nice and flat, just for a change. The view across the lake from nearby the cache is quite good as well.
Located approx 1 meter off the ground the cache is secured well away from the water. I do suggest that you consult a map before going to the cache as there is only one way in by foot otherwise you will be presented with water views and an even longer walk.
Check the ponds as you come in for the huge carp that I seen in there, just swimming around with their backs out of the water. There are a lot of water birds in the area as well please try not to disturb them. There is also a lot of cattle around so don't forget the aeroguard and be careful what your stepping on or in.
The Lake usually looks nice and clean, but I now know where a lot of the plastic rubbish has blown to.
Easy find so no hints required, please reclose securely and recover.
