Geocache Description:

Parking area 1 N43 deg 14.231 W89 deg 43.757

NOTE: Waypoint #5 should read 279meters 357 deg. This multi-cache will be a test of your ability to use different functions of your GPSr. Before you start out set your unit to read true north, and metric units, (meters and degrees). At each way point there is an aluminum marker with the distance in meters and a bearing from true north to the next marker printed twice on the back of the marker. There are five waypoints and sixth is the final was an ammo box now a bison tube. The terrain rating will go up substantially if you decide to go in straight lines, a map of the area with contours is attached to be printed to help in picking your best rout. The waypoints are not hidden and are easily seen, the cache is well protected but if your get to the final area the cache should not take long to find. This multi-cache will take a few hours to do so bring water and a snack. There will be several overlooks and much to see. There are two parking areas: Parking area one is free and just off Hwy 78, and about three quarters of a mile hike to waypoint one and uphill all the way. The Goecache Placement Notification Form 2500-118 (R 6/06) has been signed by Steve Colder 11-06-06 of the DNR Dodgeville Service Center. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. img src="http://www.wi-geocaching.com/awards/December2013SouthCentralZone.jpg"
