A short stiff walk uphill to a nice quiet spot, some spectacular scenery through the trees in places.
Who built this enormous Cairn ? In it's complete form it would have been a lovely shape, pity that it has started to tumble down.
Please do not disturb any stones on this Cairn, the Cache is close by, it is not at the Cairn.
The wood is home to Red Deer, Roe Deer, Red Squirrel and Capercaillie, go quietly and you may be lucky enough to see them.
