Geocache Description:

Cache is a fairly large clear plastic container.

Here is an opportunity to check out a little local history, query what the "big orange thing" is, and enjoy the scenery along the Coquihalla River. Taking Exit 183, you will soon arrive at a commemorative plaque dedicated to the Hudson's Bay Brigade Trail and Brigade Trail Cache "A".  2 kms from the plaque on a small paved road there is a place to park by a gate.

Conquering the mountains first by foot and then on horseback has always been a challenge.  The orange hydro gondola was used to take men and supplies up to service the power line and communication facilities 'up top'. Helicopters have taken over now and the facility is being used to house modern communication systems.  How times change.
