Från Rökhuset har du en fantastisk utsikt mot Svaneholms slott. Svaneholms Rökhus byggdes runt 1870. Arkitekten tros vara Carl Georg Brunius, som också var en av de som stod bakom renoveringen av Lunds domkyrka på mitten av 1800-talet. Huset har formen av en oktagon (åttakappa) med romanska fönster och takfris. Från början var det ett hönshus med halmtak, men har även tjänat som bostad åt kusken, varit scouternas lokal och använts som café. Namnet är felsyftande eftersom det aldrig har varit ett rökhus. Det riktiga rökhuset låg 20 meter bort.

From Rökhuset you have a fantastic view towards Svaneholms slott. Svaneholms Rökhus (Smokehouse) was built around 1870. The architect is thought to be Carl Georg Brunius, who also renovated cathedral in Lund in the middle of the 1800:s. The house has the form of a octagon with romanesque windows and frieze. In the beginnning it was used as a henhouse with thatched roof, but it has also been the living quarters of the coachman, it's been the hall for the scouts and used as a café. The name is actually wrong because it has never been a smokehouse, the real smokehouse was 20 meters away.
