Geocache Description:

Small rectangular camoflagued Lock & Lock type container. Our 2nd cache! Placed with permission from the Manager of Thermal Operations at Burrard Generating Station. These trails are used frequently by the public.

AVP

Another movie that was filmed locally. Production just finished here before the snow in November. They have filmed in quite a few Tri-Cities locations that I know of so it should be fun to watch. Release is scheduled for Christmas 2007 or some other blockbuster weekend prior to that if they can get it out earlier. Reports of the activity that occurred here sound very interesting and I'm thinking it may be towards the end of the film before you see any of these scenes. No spoilers... sorry.
A nice drive out to this cache location. You could even bring a picnic to enjoy at some of the local parks and beaches like Buntzen Lake, White Pine Beach or Belcarra Park... or even the cache location.
The cache is placed near a trail used by dirt bikes. There is parking along side where the trail meets the road, but make sure you don't block off the trail entrance so the dirt bikes can get through.
If you saw Alien vs Predator (I haven't), log a review or a thumbs up/down in the cache log or on line... or if you saw any of the filming on AVP2- let us know what you saw.
A review of AVP1 can be found at: Cinema Clock review of AVP
FTF prize is a Rogers Video Gift Certificate.
We are starting out our second trackable in this cache. Heffalump's Kid's GeoCoin belonging to Heather our middle 'mini-seeker' (4 yrs old).
Also putting in an official Podcacher card from Sonny and Sandy in SanDiego (great free Podcast on Geocaching) and some small toys for the kids. Hope you enjoy the trip out to this area.
