Greatland Reviewer: Hello nudlez:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache. If you would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

THIS CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!

We had our honeymoon in Hawaii, and placed a cache to commemorate. This cache is similar to another cache we own in Minnesota (Scrambled Squares - GCXGPC), but with a Hawaiian theme. The posted coordinates are where we stayed on our honeymoon, and the real coordinates are on a nearby beach. We're also using this cache to launch our Honeymoon Travel Bug TBZ8MX.

Here are the instructions to get the coordinates for the cache:
Print out the puzzle below, and cut out the squares. You may want to click on the picture to open it in a new window, so when you print it will fit on one page. Piece it together so that each top half is matched to it's correct bottom half. When the puzzle is complete, it should form a 3 x 3 grid. Orient the puzzle so that the top left corner contains no groundspeak symbols. Then read the coordinates into the formula below, starting with the top left square, counting the number of groundspeak symbols in each square and reading from left to right and then top to bottom. (You already know that the first value should be zero)
N 22 --.---
W 159 1-.---

This is the symbol that you are counting in each square:
If there are any questions, feel free to contact us. Have fun!

NOTE: Please make sure to re-camo the cache after finding it. Please use stealth if necessary. You may want to keep an eye out for the nearby benchmark ("POLO" TU1930), if you are walking East of the cache.

Small note on cache maintenance: Hanapaa has agreed to maintain this cache for us. Mahalo!
