This puzzle cache features two fellow cachers, who had no
involvement at all in its creation, nor were they aware of its
existence until it went live. They have been used because their
caches have been the major influence in my cache setting to date,
and I thought it only fair they have a role in their very own
cache. That and the fact that whenever you speak to them they seem
to be going off somewhere or other - "forn parts" as Nanny Ogg
would call them. Anyway enough of that, here's the story....
One day local FTF champion Tjapukai
was out caching in the depths of Surrey, when he bumped into
Brambler, creator of the excellent and much revered Pitch Series of
caches. As they chatted they decided it would be a wonderful idea
to combine forces and set a puzzle cache with each of them
responsible for one half of the coordinates. As both were due to go
on holiday, they decided to meet again in three weeks to discuss
their plans further. The time soon passed, and it was not long
before our two intrepid cachers were sat in a local hostelry
chatting over a pint.
Brambler: "So, did you have a good
holiday?"
Tjapukai: "Excellent thanks, we went to the Caribbean on a
cruise"
Brambler: "What a remarkable coincidence, so did we."
Tjapukai: "Really? Where did you visit?"
Brambler: "Well we took one of those party cruises, that
sails from one end of the Caribbean to the other. We spent most of
the time at sea, and only stopped in The Bahamas and Trinidad &
Tobago. What about yourself?"
Tjapukai: "We too covered much of the Caribbean, but went
the other way, and stopped in a few more places: Barbados, St
Vincent & The Grenadines, the British Virgin Islands, the Turks
& Caicos islands and the Cayman Islands."
Brambler: "This coincidence is just too good to pass up, and
I've had an excellent idea. Did you fly from Gatwick?"
Tjapukai: "As a matter of fact we did."
Brambler: "Perfect, we'll use my cruise for the latitude and
yours for the longitude."
Tjapukai: "Ahhh, I see what you mean. Very
cunning."
And that's exactly what they did.
In case it helps, which of course it may not (can you trust a
Nanny?) you can visit a map of the Caribbean, which shows all the
places visited by our travelling cachers, by clicking here.
Please ensure that you take a pen and paper with you, as you
will need them to write down some information contained within the
Micro. Good luck, and don't leave any spoilers in the logs.
