So far I have seen Hare, Rabbit, Stoat, Duck, Buzzard, Roe Deer, Mink and (en route) Red Squirrel - can you add to this list. Note that Duck Shooting season is September 1st to January 31st.
When the CO placed this cache they wore wellingtons and took a pair of walking poles with me to place this cache - together with the stowed equipment (which has now been removed so bring your own!) and a little care - all I got wet was my hands. Wading is not an option - but if you feel hardy enough by all means swim.
