Geocache Description:

You are looking for a mirco cache along a footpath near the awesome brick railway viaduct.

Chappel Railway Viaduct that spans across the Colne Valley was built from 1847 with up to 6 million bricks. It is 1066 feet long, 30 feet wide and has 32 arches.
Nearby is a railway museum at Chappel & Wakes Colne station which is open daily.
The Swan pub sits in the shaddow of the viaduct and on the banks of the River Colne, it provides refreshments for all. Children's playground and a public park is also under this impressive brick structure.
Car parking can be found next to the picturesques Norman village church or you can arrive by train that runs between Marks Tey and Sudbury.
