Jeg har fundet 8 trolde der godt vil hjælpe dig med at vise vej til cachen. Troldene er normalt usynlige for mennesker, men de har lovet mig, at vise deres øjne, men kun om natten. Hvis du ser at en trold lægger hovedet på skrå, så er det for at vise dig i hvilken retning du skal finde den næste trold.
De 8 trolde hedder:
PRIMUS, det er den gamle troldefar, og det er ham der bestemmer, siger han selv.
SEKUNDUS, det er troldemor, hun kommer efter troldefar i rang, men troldebørnene siger at det ikke passer. De mener nemlig, at der er troldemor der bestemmer det hele.
TRITONUS. Han skulle egentlig have heddet TERTIUS. Han er meget meget musikalsk, som troldene opfatter det. Menneskene synes det lyder rædselsfuldt. (Tritonus er navnet på et tonespring på 3 hele toner. Det er meget svært at ramme når man synger, og middelalderens mennesker syntes det lød rædselsfuldt. Derfor blev det tonespring kaldt Djævelen i musikken).
KVARTUS: er storesøster, der ofte må hjælpe troldemor med arbejdet.
KVINTUS, SEXTUS og SEPTUS: er trillinger. Det er små drengetrolde, der altid slås, så det er umuligt at få dem til at udføre et ordentligt arbejde. De har dog lovet mig at sidde stille, når de skal vise vej til cachen, men hvis du har drukket for meget spiritus, så opdager troldeungerne det og så begynder de at slås, og så har du ingen mulighed for at finde cachen.
OCTUS: er en helt lille pige. Hun har fået det job at sidde lige over cachen. Den har en rød reflektor på oversiden.
De er ikke de eneste trolde der bor i skoven. Der er også nogle der bor nede i jorden. Dem skal du passe på. De kan finde på at flytte en gren lige hen foran din fod, eller grave et hul under din fod, for at få dig til at snuble.

Her kan du begynde at lede efter den første trold. Han sidder øst for stien. Når du har fundet ham kan du begynde at lede efter den næste. Du skal stå tæt ved en trold, når du leder efter den næste. Når du har fundet cachen, så gå ikke ind til fårene. Troldene griner bare ad dig når du rammer det elektriske hegn. Gå i stedet mod syd.

The trolls in The West Forest (Vestskoven)
This cache is a night cache only. Bring a flashlight (hold and shine flashlight always from
your eye level) or a head lamp.

I have found 8 trolls who will help you to find your way to the cache. Trolls are normally invisible to humans, but they have promised me to show their eyes, but only during night time. If you see that a troll tilts his head, this is to suggest the way to find the next troll.
The names of the 8 trolls are:
PRIMUS is the old troll dad, and according to him he is the one that decides everything.
SECUNDUS is Troll mom. She ranks below troll dad, but the troll kids say that this isn't true. They
find that troll mom decides everything.
TRITONUS should originally have been called TERTIUS. He has an ear for music, as the trolls
understand it. Humans find troll music terrible. (TRITONUS is the name of a tone step of 3 whole
tones. It is very difficult to hit when singing, and in the Middle Ages people found the sound
terrible. This is why this tone step in the music is called diabolical “Diabolus in musica”).
KVARTUS is the big sister. She must often help troll mom with the work
KVINTUS, SEXTUS, and SEPTUS are triplets. They are small boy trolls and they are always fighting each other, so it is impossible to make them work properly. However, they have promised me to sit still, when they are going to show you the way to the cache. But if you have been drinking too much alcohol, they will discover it, and start fighting. If that happends, you will never find the cache.
OCTUS is a baby girl. She has got the job to sit exactly over the cache, which has a red reflector
on the overside.
They are not the only trolls living in the forest. There are also some living underground. Beware! They could get the idea to move a log to a place just before your foot or dig a hole just under your foot so you will stumble.
First go to your starting coordinates are. see the top af the page.
Here you shall start to find the first troll. He is sitting east of the path. When you have found him you can find the next and the next etc. You have to stand close to a troll when you look for the next troll. When you have found the cache, then don't go into where the sheep are. The trolls will just laugh at you when you hit the electric fence.
