Presne datum vzniku nezname, prvni pisemne zminky o vezi se dochovaly z pocatku 15. stoleti. Celkova vyska veze od terenu po vrcholek krize je 75 m a stavba je zalozena na pudorysu 11,5 x 11,5 m. Ochoz se nachazi ve vyscce 35 m, kriz nad makovici je 4 m vysoky a otaci se pusobenim vetru. Rozmery veznich hodin (prumer ciferniku 5,5 m, vyska cislic 60 cm) je dle dostupnych informaci radi na prvni misto na evropskem kontinentu.

The precise date of its initial construction is unknown. The first written notes about the tower date back to the beginning of 15th century. The total height of the tower from ground level to the top of the cross is 75 meters and the dimension of the base are 11,5 m by 11,5 m. The balcony is at the height of 35 m, the cross is 4 meters hight and also acts as weathervain. The diameter of the clock face is 5,5 m, the height of the numerals is 60 cm and the clocks are considered to be the largest in Europe.
