Geocache Description:

If you Fancy a Challenge, have a go at this!

I have placed the cache on top off the tallest mountain in Wales & England, if you are going to take up this challenge, please plan ahead. Have a look at this web site for more details, also they have a link for the latest weather forecast, check this before heading off.

www.snowdon.com http://www.snowdon.com/home

Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales 1085m or 3560 ft also known by its local Welsh Language name Yr Wyddfa (The Tomb). Each year hundreds of thousands of visitors visit the mountain to enjoy its unique presence and share the exhilaration of scaling its slopes by one of the Snowdon Paths. The mountain is not only tall, it has its own unique bio-diversity of plants and animals and much effort is made to maintain the fragile mountain ecology. Snowdon is a proud national symbol for the Welsh people, something they are rightly proud and offering an icon of stability in our rapidly changing political and technological world.

If you havent got the legs for a long slog to the mountain then there is a train that can take you up there, see the web site below.

When you have reached the top take a picture off yourself at the top and add it to your log.

*****PS*****

Please, please make sure if you are going to walk up, take the correct equipment with you, as you don't know what the weather will be like higher up.

Adopted by scottpa100 on the 20th May 2007.

Amended terrain rating using geocaching.com cache rating utility. Pay attention to the weather forecasts and your equipment - you are up on the mountains. You are looking for a small lok n' lok box. You need to write in the log book to get this cache! Please bear this in mind for when I check the log book, I will be ruthless and remove found logs on the cache web page that are not in the log book. This could be important if you want certain caches to be your milestone caches!!

Best of luck and happy huntin'!
