Fonte Férrea
Esta cache foi colocada durante as nossas férias em S. Brás de
Alportel e encontra-se localizada no Parque da Fonte Férrea.
A fonte, datada de 1820, situa-se junto à EN2, num vale rodeado
de árvores com um riacho que corre especialmente no inverno. É um
local excelente para piqueniques, pois está equipada com mesas,
bancos e vários assadores em pedra e tijolo.
À agua da fonte, com alto teor de ferro, são atribuidas
propriedades terapêuticas.
Para chegar até à cache aconselhamos que passe a grande ponte de
madeira e siga o trilho à sua direita. Por favor, não faça lume nem
abadone garrafas ou latas. Este vale sofreu com os incêndios de
2004!
ATENÇÃO: A caixa NÃO ESTÁ dentro do próprio muro, mas sim no
chão. Por isso por favor não tirem pedras do valado!
This one was placed during our holidays in São Brás de Alportel,
and it’s located in “Fonte Férrea”.
Fonte Férrea is a ground water spring, which has been used at
least since 1820. The spring water is rich in iron, and it's
believed to have medicinal properties
This cache features a tree rich valley and a creek that runs in
winter time. This is an excellent spot for picnics, with tables,
seats and stone made grills.
In order to get to cache, take the big wooden bridge and follow
the upward path to the right. Please enjoy nature without lighting
any fires or leaving any bottles or other garbage; this valley has
suffered a great deal with the fires of 2004!
ATTENTION geocachers! The box IS NOT inside the wall itself,
it's in the ground so please don't disturb the stones in the
wall!
