Der Cache ist an der schönsten Badestelle Ratzeburgs, der
Farchauer Liegewiese.
Die Badestelle ist an den Parkkoordinaten und besteht aus zwei
großen Wiesen mitten im Wald. Es ist erlaubt, ein offenes
Lagerfeuer anzuzünden und zu grillen, aber das muss bei der
Försterei angemeldet werden (Tel.: 04541-3321).
Der Cache selbst liegt in ca. 150m Entfernung vom Parkplatz. Es
führt ein großer Waldweg bis zum Cache, nur 15m sind abseits des
Weges. Der Cache ist eine riesige Ammobox, vermutlich der größte
Cachebehälter im Umkreis von 10km.
Wenn das Navigationsgerät Probleme hat, den Parkplatz zu finden,
verlasst bei WP1 oder WP2 die Bundesstraße. Der Parkplatz liegt an
einer unbefestigten, offiziellen Straße, die bei WP1 anfängt und
bei WP2 aufhört. Wer es mag, unbefestigte Waldwege legal zu
befahren, kann auf den Waldwegen bis nach Schmilau fahren - Have
fun:) Aber Achtung - es ist eine offizielle Straße mit
entsprechendem Verkehr!
This cache is next to the best swimming place in Ratzeburg.
The swimming place is located at the parking coords. It
constists of two large meadows right in a nice forest. It is
allowed to burn a fire and have a barbecue there, but you have to
call the ranger first (tel.: 04541-3321).
The cache itself is about 150m away from the parking place. It
is 15m off the trail. The cache is a huge ammobox and the biggest
cache in a circumference of at least 10km.
If your navigation has problems finding the right track to the
parking coords, try starting at WP1 or WP2. The parking place is
situated at an official unsealed road starting at WP1 and ending at
WP2. If you like driving unsealed roads, there are some more
kilometres (direction "Schmilau") to drive - have fun:) Remember -
it is an official road with usual traffic! |
