Il cache è posizionato ai piedi della croce del Legnone.
La salita al Legnone è per escusionisti esperti e richiede 3,5 ore dal Rifugio Roccoli Lorla (per persone con normale allenamento). Il sentiero è ben marcato ed accessibile, ma a tratti è molto ripido, anche se non richiede attrezzatura particolare (eccetto buone gambe e scarponi da montagna).
La vista panoramica durante la salita e dalla vetta è entusiasmante e spazia dai 4000 delle Alpi agli Appennini, con la vista di 4 laghi (Como, Lugano, Annone, Novate Mezzola).
Il cache, una piccola scatola nera di dimensioni circa 6x6 3 cm contiene piccoli oggetti ed un logbook, è un invito a salire questa splendida montagna.
Una volta raggiunta la croce di vetta il cache è posizionato in un foro nel muricciolo di basamento della croce di vetta, nell' angolo sud-ovest del basamento, parzialmente nascosto da alcuni sassi. Facile da ritrovare.

Attenzione! Escursioni come quella del Legnone richiedono attrezzatura ed abbigliamento adeguato, buona forma fisica ed esperienza di montagna. Le condizioni del tempo possono cambiare repentinamente.
In periodo non estivi e con la neve/ghiaccio la salita può essere particolamente difficile.

The cache is positioned at the bottom of the cross on the top of Mount Legnone.
Climbing Mount Legnone is for expert trekkers and requires about 3,5 hours starting from Rifugio Roccoli Lorla (for normal trained people). The path is well marked and accessible, occasionally very steep, and requires no particular climbing equipment except good training and good mountain boots.
The panoramic view is astonishing all along the climb and from the top, with view over several 4000's of the Alps till the Appennines, and with a view of 4 lakes (Como, Lugano, Annone, Novate Mezzola).
The cache, a small black box about 6x6x3 cm with small items on it, is an invitation to climb this beatifull mountain.
Once on the top, the cache is easy to find. It's positioned in a hole in the cross basement, on its south west corned, partially hidden by stones.
Attention! Hiking Mount Legnone requires adequate equipment, good physical condition and training and mountain experience. Whether condition may change suddenly.
In non-summer period and with snow/ice the climb may be very difficult.

Der Cache befindet sich am Fuße des Kreuzes auf dem Gipfel des Monte Legnone.
Die Besteigung des Monte Legnone ist nur etwas für erfahrene Wanderer und dauert etwa 3,5 Stunden, wenn man vom Rifugio Roccoli Lora startet (für normal trainierte Menschen). Der Pfad ist gut markiert und begehbar, gelegentlich sehr steil. Es wird keine spezielle Kletterausrüstung benötigt. Man sollte nur gut trainiert sein und gute Bergschuhe benutzen.
Die Panoramaaussicht ist auf dem ganzen Weg und vom Gipfel überragend. Der Blick geht über verschiedene 4000er der Alpen bis hin zu den Appeninen und über 4 Seen (Como, Lugano, Annone, Novate Mezzola.)
Der Cache, eine kleine schwarze Box (etwa 6x6x3 cm) mit kleinen Dingen drin, ist eine Einladung diesen schönen Berg zu besteigen.
Wenn man auf dem Gipfel angekommen ist, dann ist es ganz leicht den Cache zu finden. Er befindet sich in einem Loch an der Südwest Ecke des Kreuz-Fundamentes. Er ist teilweise mit Steinen getarnt.
Achtung! Der Aufstieg auf den Monte Legnone erfordert eine angemessene Ausrüstung, gute physische Kondition und Bergerfahrung. Das Wetter kann sich plötzlich verändern.
Eine Besteigung außerhalb des Sommers und bei Schnee und Eis kann sehr schwierig und gefährlich sein.
