Reviewer Hilts: Since there's been no response to my previous note, I'm archiving this to keep it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact me via the link on my profile page, and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it. Please include the GC# and cache name in your email.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Sigma Phi Gamma Park in Hartford City, Indiana. Playground equipment available for children. Have fun!

The team has been itching to place some caches in our hometown...So here we go. The second in our series of park or nature/fitness trail cache hunts. (Our first is in North Webster, IN called The Eagle Scout Project.) SPG park founded about 1920 according to the entrance pillars, was played in by Blackjohnson when a boy. I also watched Babe Ruth baseball games here as a younger child. Over the years, the ball changed from Babe Ruth to mens/womens softball to currently T-Ball. The cache is smaller than 35mm and camoed. Depending on the find, you might get a surprise cache too!! Bring your own pen!! FTF $100 (minus 99 of course). KEEP ON CACHING!!!
