This cache name is based on its located and contents - a fishing cache. Cache is located on Dashwa Lake, northeast of Atikokan.
We placed this cache on a family canoe trip while enjoying the fishing in the area. You will need a canoe or boat to access this cache in summer or a snow machine in winter. We choose the location due to its proximity to good fishing and the abundant evidence of logging in the location recent past. Note the cable and holes drilled in the rock.
The canoe launch location is N 48 54.368 W 091 45.329
Suggest making a weekend trip into the lake to enjoy the area and the fishing. Excellent camp location at N 48 56.723 W 091 47.218. (More evident of logging camp at site)
