This cache is on a spit of rock leading out to sea, it is on a beach which is a short walk to one of Cretes most beautiful beaches 'Prevelli beach' or 'Palm beach'. Please note the Terrain rating, this is a real challenge! Please only try to attempt this if you are fit to do so!
Everyone who visits this cache says it was on of the most memorable caches they have ever done. The best way to get to this micro is by following the road to Plakias and a few kilometres before you get there you will see a road on the left marked 'Prevelli monastery', follow this. After a while you will see another turning on the left marked 'Palm beach', take this and bear right, you now follow a 5km track to a car park. From here you can see the spit of rock. The Cache is on the top of the biggest rock. There are multiple routes up this rock and some are more dangerous than others (some say going for a swim finds an easier route). Please make sure you don't try anything that might get you in to trouble as this area is fairly remote. Rock shoes are recommended! To the right is a track to 'Palm beach' one of the most photographed beaches on Crete with its river running through a gorge to the beach, with palm trees running along the river.
