Where's the party at? Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Sheet Metal Consortium: Hated to give up on the big guy especially since it was a group effort. We had a good run on it and guess it's time to let it go.

Geocache Description:

“Where’s the party at?” Back in the 80’s (and I suspect a couple decades before that) the answer to that question was in this now mostly unused park. Whether it was after the big football game or just hanging out this was the place to be. Now, like similar places of that time it’s mostly abandoned and starting to collect some junk.

The Sheet Metal Consortium, a group of cachers new and old from a local sheet metal job shop, have banded together to present this cache and bring a new group of visitors here for a different kind of party. This started as a learning experience for some of the new cachers who aren’t quite ready to place a cache on their own but want the excitement of hiding a cache and as a chance for all of us to work together creating something a little bit bigger than we each might on our own.

This cache is decidedly big. It’s an ammo can but a little different than any of us have seen in the wild. If you or your kids love finding the treasure chest kind of cache or if you have something you’ve wanted to leave but have never found a cache with enough room this is the hunt for you. The cache is well stocked with a wide variety of items of varying value and reflecting the tastes of many individuals. This should be a quick find. Remember this is a big can in a small park so please rehide carefully.
