Located in the woods at Sand Beach off Rte. 15 in Stonington.
If you want to see beautiful views of the water and islands off-shore, this is the cache for you. You can drive, walk, or kayak to this one - depending on where you're coming from. Once on this moderately secluded beach, take the foot paths into the woods on the left (as you face the water).
Cache is a snap-and-lock container wrapped in camo tape and is filled with an assortment of stuff. The FTF prize is a gift certificate to the Fisherman's Friend restaurant in Stonington.
This cache is dedicated to the memory of Roger Daynard - who absolutely thought Stonington was the best place in the world and loved to pig-out at Fisherman's Friend.
