Park at "Welcome to Cedar Lake". It's about a half mile hike in this WMA to the cache from there. Once you arrive near ground zero, have a seat in the observation area and enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty!
This cache is dedicated to "My Bubba".
My Bubba first started caching when he was one year old and since that time has racked up more than 1,000 finds. Through the years Bubba has been carried to caches, pulled in his wagon, on a sled, and rode his dune buggy. Most recently he has taken to the trails on his chopper bike and now has several paddle-to caches to add to the smiley list. Bubba has cached in 18 states including Hawaii. In fact, he has several First To Finds to brag about! Bubba and his family have cached in several National Parks such as Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore where he has earned his Junior Ranger Park Badges. In addition to geocaching, Bubba loves anything outdoors such as camping, kayaking, and bike riding. That’s a pretty impressive resume for a kid who hasn’t even started kindergarten yet. So, if you see an adorable, dynamite of a kid out on the trails, watch out, it may be My Bubba!
