Park Javorka

V roce 1885 byl kolem pramene Javorka založen stejnojmenný mestský sad. Predstavoval park anglického typu, byl tedy komponovaný jako volná príroda. Zahrnoval vzrostlou zelen, travnaté úseky i vodní plochy. Prírodní útvary byly postupne doplnovány umelými prvky architektonické i socharské povahy. K nejvýznamnejším náleží Bosenský pavilon (tzv. „Altánek“), který v roce 1904 vznikl podle návrhu jistého inženýra Bittschaua. Roku 1910 byla odhalena pískovcová socha Šárky, zhotovená podle modelu Quida Kociána. Na malém ostruvku uprostred rybnícku stával do ctyricátých let dvacátého století terakotový vládce morí Neptun. Model k této plastice pocházel z ruky J.V. Myslbeka. Socha byla znicena a pozdeji nahrazena Vodníkem z dílny ceskotrebovského výtvarníka Karla Tomeše. V dolní cásti parku se nachází Husuv pomník. Puvodní reliéf Mistra Jana Husa vytvoril Josef Kvasnicka roku 1916. K tradicní výbave Javorky náleží i „hríbek“ - stavbicka bez umeleckých ambicí, která je však mezi návštevníky velmi populární, zejména mezi temi nejmenšími. Nejmladší soucástí socharské výzdoby parku jsou betonové sochy, které vytvorili studenti Katedry výtvarné tvorby Ostravské univerzity. Park je jimi prubežne doplnován od roku 2002. V roce 2003 došlo k odstranení nevzhledné betonové desky zakrývající pramenište Javorky a k jeho novému zastrešení dle návrhu architekta Petra Kuldy z Ústí nad Orlicí. Park byl a zustává príjemným místem pro rekreaci detí i dospelých.

The Park “Javorka“

The town park “Javorka” was founded around the spring Javorka in 1885. It was originally created as an English type of park composed as an open countryside with full-grown trees, wide grass and water areas. The natural formations were later gradually complemented with artificial elements like statues and some architectonic objects. Among them the pavillon “Bosenský” is the most noticeable and was built in 1904 according to the design of the architect Bittschau. The sandstone statue of Šárka, unveiled in 1910, was made after Quido Kocian’s model. A terracotta statue of Neptune made after J.V. Myslbek’s style stood in the middle of the pond until 1940. Unfortunately, the statue was destroyed and was replaced by the Water Sprite made by the local artist Karel Tomeš. There is also a monument of Jan Hus in the lower part of the park. The original relief of Hus was made by Josef Kvasnicka in 1916. Traditional part of the Javorka is giant mushroom, a little object laying no claim to an artist ambition, very popular with the visitors, above all with the children. Since 2002 the park has been supplied with the concrete statues, the last object made by the students of the Plastic works (Fine arts) department of Ostrava University. The old concrete cover of the Javorka spring was removed in 2003 and later replaced by a new one according to the project of Petr Kulda from Ústí nad Orlicí. The park “Javorka” was and still is a pleasant place serving to a short-time relaxation of both adults and children.

Multicache je koncipovaná jako príjemná procházka parkem. Jednotlivá zastavení jsou zvolena tak, aby hledace provedla parkem po nejvýznamnejších památkách s pokladem na konci cesty. Multicache má osm zastavení, na kterých je treba získat indicie vedoucí k pokladu. Obtížnost terénu je velmi jednoduchá. Parkem vede spousta dláždených a šterkových cesticek. Pri hledání postupových bodu není nutné opouštet cesticky, což ciní tuto multicache vhodnou i pro geomaminky s geokocárky. Díky celkové obtížnosti doporucuji tuto multicache jako vhodné georande. Chození po trávnících je dovoleno, takže dobrodruzi se mohou vydat prímo za cílem. Preji príjemné chvíle strávené v parku a úspešné nalezení pokladu.

Description of the cache:

The multicache is composed as a pleasant track around the park. All points are selected in order to show the cacher the most significant facilities of the park. The longed-for treasure is waiting at the end of the journey. You will visit 8 points, where you should find out several important information, that will lead you to the cache. There are many paved and gravelled paths in the park, so walking there is quite comfortable. During finding the individual points of the multicache you needn’t to leave the paths, so this multicache is suitable for geomums with geoprams, too. Furthermore, because of the romantic atmosphere of the park you can join the catching with a geodate. You can step on the lawn as well, so the adventurers can follow the arrow directly to the destination. I wish you wonderful time spent in the park and successful found of the cache.
