Geocache Description:

A small micro on the "Tongue", Douglas Harbour. Bring a sharp pencil or fine pen as the log book is tiny.

The Tongue was once the boatbuilding area, but is now used for parking (cars and boats) and access to the new marina pontoon. The water is held in the marina by a gate so that it remains deep at all states of the tide, but the gate opens when the sea is high enough.

The area is quite attractive, with lots of interesting and colourful boats at all times of the year, and is only a short easy stroll from the town centre and sea terminal.

The cache is easy to access from the South Quay car park, and should be simple to spot once at the location - although it is camouflaged to protect it from muggles.

If approaching from the Sea Terminal or promenade, cross via the new road bridge before walking the short distance to the cache area.

There are pubs and restaurants along the opposite side of the harbour (North Quay): this is undergoing a facelift and is slowly improving.

**The cache can only be accessed from the car park. The co-ordinates provide the rough location of the cache as they cannot be changed to the correct location**
