Geocache Description:

Interessante Felsformation entstanden in der letzten Eiszeit.

Dieser Cache führt euch zum „Kirchle“. Es handelt sich dabei aber um kein religieuses Gebäude sondern um eine interessante Felsformation die in der Eiszeit enstanden ist. Riesige Felsüberhänge, Spalten und Felstöpfe wurden zu dieser Zeit in den Fels geschliffen.

Es gibt mehrer Möglichkeiten dorthin zu gelangen. Ich habe bei den Koordinaten: N47o22.626 E9o47.002 gestartet (Strasse Richtung Ebnit). Ein weiterer Weg führt von der Bushaltestelle „Schmitten“ N47o22.292 E9o46.464 aus zum Kirliche – der ist steiler, aber spektakulärer mit Stiegen, Geländern etc. Zummindest gute Turnschuhe sollte man schon dabeihaben. Der Empfang beim Cache untern den Bäumen nicht besonders, gebt dem GPS ein Bischen Zeit und beachtet das Spoiler Foto.

Alternativ kann man auch vom „Rappenloch Cache“ weiterwandern, durch die Alplochschlucht und kommt dann direkt auf den steilen Wege zum Cache. Für diese Variante muss man ca. 2h für einen Weg rechnen - retour dann vielleicht mit dem öffentlichen Bus.

Beide Caches sind übrigens auch bei Schlechtwetter sehr reizvoll (gute Schuhe und Regenjacke vorausgesetzt).

English: This cache takes you to a place called „Kirchle“ what means church in German. But it is no a church it is an interesting place formed by nature in the last ice age.
Start your walk (45min) with good shoes from this coordinates: N47o22.626 E9o47.002 or for a more interessting but steep way from N47o22.292 E9o46.464. Alternatively you can go to the “Rappenloch Cache” and continue to walk through the Alploch there. This will bring you to the steep way described bevor – this variant will take about 2h for one way, for your way back you could take a public bus.
