Geocache Description:

Take the turnoff to Mara approximately 22 Km's outside of Nelspruit on the N4 between Nelspruit and Kaapmuiden.Sign in at the security boom. Follow the Tar road all the way up to the top of the mountain until you find Crocodile Gorge. Entry is free. You can also take the Boulders turnoff from the R38 Kaapmuiden/ Barberton Road.

This is a fantastic spot for the adventurist to visit. It is also the start of a 1.2 Km extremist hiking trail down to the bottom of the Crocodile Gorge (Krokodilpoort), and the Crocodile River Do not visit this cache with a normal vehicle. Park normal vehicles at waypoint S 25° 32. 051' E 031° 13. 657'.Only 4x4 vehicles, quads, off-road motorbikes, mountain bikes and hikers to get to this cache!!!!! Take note of the "Mingerhout" trees (African Teak) which are mentioned in the Bible. This is one of the few places in Africa where you can find these trees, and some date to around 800 years old. There are approximately 400 to 500 of these trees on the hiking trail.
