Islander stood on the beach, looking out over the ocean. It was familiar, something he had seen all his life, but soon it would just be a memory... for a time.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out the wrinkled old picture again, looking at it once more for some clue.

What was it the man who gave him the picture asked? "What is it now that you seek? Darkened waters or evergreen peaks?" There had been more, but none of it seemed to make sense. He had scribbled down the words, but it all seemed like so much babble.
Islander held up the picture to the light. Maybe there was something here he wasn't seeing. Then... what was that? Islander looked deeply, then smiled. He wasn't there yet, but realized he was on the right track, and soon the cache would be his.
