Geocache Description:

A little micro on the top of the world!

This cache probably won't get alot of visitors, but we were up here on assignment and couldn't resist placing it. Barrow, Alaska is the northernmost town in the United States and sits right against the Beaufort Sea. Polar bears roam the ice pack and occasionally the town itself! It's a stark and beautiful place. The local natives are friendly people with a rich culture to share.

Small note on cache maintenance: We will be here till Dec. then return on an annual basis for 6 months at a time. I am also arranging a cache 'tender' who lives here and has family in the area and is well established in the community to look after the cache in our absence.
