A good hike to an interesting spot. Diff rating is 2.5 because when you get here you will see many places to hide. Terrain rating is 3 because it is nearly .60 miles of trailless bushwhacking. But great fun!
I drive past here all the time on 294. I keep saying I will hike out to have a look and see what this is or was. When you get here you will understand the name. Please be careful as this could be a treacherous area. I still do not know what this is or was, but I can now say I have made the trip to see. Even if I knew what it was I still would not tell you. You need to come out here and see for yourself. If you can figure out what it is or was send me an email.
A nice hike to get here from parking. Lots of deer. Some trails. Many bugs. Very little trash.
Cache is a small Lock ‘N Lock.
My coordinates may not be the greatest. I am offering up a second set here (slightly offset) to help if you need them. Any one who makes the hike out here deserves to make the find. I would be mighty unhappy to bushwhack all the way here for a DNF. The hint is a spoiler. Use it if you need it.
Likely more accurate coordinates are N42 07.546 W087 53.248. Cache is offset 55 feet at 38 degrees from this second set of numbers. These numbers were pulled in clear sky and should be great.
Do NOT even think about doing this one as a park-n-grab off the shoulder of 294...Do not get killed hunting one of MY caches. TY
