This is the first of a trend that I would like to start in the pass time of 4-wheeling. I would suggest that others do as I did and name their caches they hide with the letters ATV at the beginning. This cache is mainly available to people on ATVs. Although it "could" be reached on foot it would be quite a walk. A truck could make it to the last waypoint before the falls in the description below (we saw a VW Jetta way in there). The walk would then be 4 Kms in and 4 Kms out.
In order to reach the cache, start by finding your way to the Western end of the Shepody road. From here the roads are not well named. At N45°35.281'/ W65°26.038' turn south. and travel 4 kms. At N45°33.756' / W65°25.412' turn Right(south) again. Travel almost 7 kms. At N45°30.737' / W65°24.020' turn East. From here the road will turn right 90 degrees quite soon, don't turn instead continue East and find your way to the road with coordinates N45°30.921' / W65°23.610'. You're almost there... At N45°30.664' / W65°22.354' turn Right (south) again. Follow this road (4kms) all the way to the falls. Be sure to walk to the bottom of the falls for a spectacular view up. I would guess the total vertical drop is 200 ft plus. I rate these falls as in my top 3 most beautiful in NB.
The Cache is a peanut butter jar with a red lid. I hid it quite plainly.
