[CZ] Je to jedina stavba, ktera se dochovala po dnes jiz zanikle obci Stara Voda. Ta kdysi byvala kvetouci obci, jejiz soucasti nebyl jen kostel, ale take klaster s koleji, studanka s kapli a pochopitelne domy, statky apod. To vse je jiz minulosti. Klaster s koleji jiz neexistuje, kostel byl znacne poskozen, v lodi kostela byla vytrhana dlazba, znicena krypta pohrbenych reholniku. Co neznicily ruce prislusniku ceskoslovenske armady, to se podarilo jejich naslednikum - sovetske vojenske posadce, ktera zde sidlila po roce 1968. Dnes okoli kostela milostive zakryly mohutne kere a stromy. Nikdo by zde nehledal kdysi malebnou obec. Klaster byl 4. 5. 1945 v ramci poslednich boju druhe svetove valky delostreleckou palbou vypalen. K jeho puvodne planovane obnove nedoslo, zejmena po odstehovani prevazne nemeckeho obyvatelstva a rozhodnutim o vojenskem prostoru v okoli Mesta Libave.
[EN] It is the only building that was preserved as a reminder of today non-existent Stara Voda village. That used to be flourishing municipality with not only a church but also a monastery with a dormitory, a well with a chapel and, obviously, houses, manors, etc. This is all gone. The monastery with the dormitory no longer exist, the church was badly damaged, the paving in the body of the church was torn out, the crypt of the interred monks was destroyed. Things that had not been destroyed by members of the Czechoslovak Army were damaged by their successors – the Soviet garrison which was settled there after 1968. Today the surroundings of the church are graciously covered with mighty bushes and trees. Nobody would look for once picturesque village there. On 4 May 1945 the monastery was burnt down by artillery fire during the last fights of World War II. The reconstruction that had been planned was never carried out, mostly after emigration of German inhabitants and due to the decision about a setting up a military area around the town of Libava.
[CZ] Jedná se o jednoduchou multinu. Souradnice by vas mely navest na jedno misto pred timto kostelem, kde najdete tri letopocty ve formatu ADDF, ABCC a ADEB(nejsou presne v tomto poradi).
Poznamka: pokud se postavite tak, ze kostel budete mit po levem boku a misto s letopocty za zady, nalevo uvidite zbytky klastera. Asi sto metru zhruba smerem 60 stupnu je stary zboreny nemecky hrbitov - ten je ovsem pro dalsi hledani nepodstatny (z dalky je videt na jeho miste symbolicky kriz).
[EN] The coordinates should lead you to one spot in front of this church where three years can be found in this format: ADDF, ABCC and ADEB (not exactly in this order).
Note: If you stand so that the church is on your left side and the spot with the dates behind your back, you will see the remains of the church on the left. About one hundred metres in the direction of 60 degrees, there is an old German demolished cemetary – which is unimportant for further searching (a symbolic cross can be seen from distance on its place).
