Geocache Description:

The last of the 12 apostles!

Walk up from Suikerbossie, if you have a map or you know the area, this is the best way up. If you don't, email me and i'll send you the track so that you don't get lost.

This walk should only be done in clear weather, for the views and because people have been lost here before.

I would recommend taking an alternative route down, just for variation, such as a walk along the spine of the apostles! But if you are going to go down the same way, then please pay attention to the route, because many people miss the turn near the top when going down and thats how they get lost. There is a wire fence there for that exact reason.
A really really worthwhile hike!

Make sure you take plenty of water, phones, emergency numbers etc. And allow lots of time.

Please feel free to email me if you have any questions!

Enjoy!

Note: I have moved the cache to a more secure spot after it was found and moved.

The cache can now be found a few meters to the east of the main Judas Peak Rock, under a large horizontal rock. Looking in the middle, you should see a piece of metal (part of the old trig beacon). The cache is just to the right of this metal plate.

Make sure you pack yourself some lunch and have a nice rest on top next to the trig beacon! Well worth it!

Also, the cache is best done in the morning because you will walk up the mountain in the shadow and it's much cooler!
