Cache je cíleně umístěna mimo samotný objekt tvrze. Při vyzvednutí není nutné nijak manipulovat s kameny ani rozebírat zdivo!
Souradnice vás zavedou na úbocí vrchu Melechova (v husitských dobách známého jako Oreb). Cache se nachází v blízkosti Melechovské tvrze (nazývané též Nelechovská nebo Koutecká). Tato gotická stavba pochází z pocátku 15. stol. a dnes je pouze zríceninou, ze které zbyla cást veže. Kolem tvrze je patrný bývalý vodní príkop a rybnícek. Mužete si všimnout i ctyr mohutných staletých buku.
Tvrz chránila zemskou stezku z Rakouska pres Humpolec a Ledec ke Kutné Hore a dále. Roku 1415 se zde pripomíná Albert z Nelechova, který pritiskl svou pecet na stížný list ceské šlechty proti upálení mistra Jana Husa v Kostnici. V roce 1554 se zde uvádí jako majitel Václav Sokol z Leskovic, který zasedal i na zemském snemu. Poté byla tvrz prodána Trckum z Lípy a patrila k Lipnici, záhy ovšem spustla.
V letech 2004-2005 zde byl proveden archeologický pruzkum, pri kterém bylo odkryto cástecne zavalené zdivo a rozpadající se steny byly stabilizovány.
Uplně první návštěvnící měli možnost získat věčnou slávu a vyfotit se na jednorázový fotoaparát. Fotografie jsou přidány do galeriie.

The cache is purposely placed outside the fortress object itself. There is no need to manipulate the stones or dismantle the masonry to retrieve it!
The coordinates will lead you to the slopes of Melechov Hill (known as Oreb in Hussite times). The cache is located near the Melechov fortress (also called Nelechovská or Koutecká). This Gothic building dates back to the beginning of the 15th century and today it is only a ruin, of which part of the tower remains. A former moat and pond can be seen around the fortress. You can also see four massive century-old beech trees.
The fortress protected the land route from Austria through Humpolec and Ledec to Kutná Hora and further. In 1415 Albert of Nelechov, who pressed his seal on the letter of complaint of the Czech nobility against the burning of the master Jan Hus in Constance, is commemorated here. In 1554, Václav Sokol of Leskovice, who also sat on the provincial council, is mentioned as the owner. Afterwards, the fortress was sold to the Trckums of Lipa and belonged to Lipnica, but soon it fell into ruin.
In 2004-2005 an archaeological survey was carried out here, during which partly caved-in masonry was uncovered and the crumbling walls were stabilized.
