Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in Washington's Main Park. The park hours are 6:00am to 12:00 midnight. You might need to use stealth to find this cache depending whether or not they are playing a baseball game. This should be a quick easy find with parking less than 500 feet away.

Washington's First Geo-Post Office

A letter and postcard swapping cache!

This cache is a Geo-Post office. You are probably wondering what that is. Team tkd from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia came up with this idea. Jeepers2 from Springfield Missouri showed me this idea first. She has set up Missouri's first Geo-Post office in Springfield, "Pythian Castle - GeoPost Office Springfield, MO". This is Missouri's second Geo-Post office.

How does a Geo-Post Office work?

You write a letter, post card, etc... to a fellow Geocacher and place it inside a zip lock bag. You need to address the postcard with there name, State, City and the GCXXX number of a cache close to there home. If you don't provide this information then the letter will never make it to it's destination. The objected is to move the postcard from cache to cache until it reach's the desired  "Geo Post Office" cache. When you move a postcard from cache to cache you need to move it closer to it's final destination. You should also send the addressee a e-mail telling them were the postcard is at so they can decide if it's close enough to go pick up.

How do I start my own Geo-Post Office?

All you need is a cache container, a log book, a stash note and zip-lock bags. Hide the cache going by geocaching.com requirements and then start "mailing" out those post cards and letters.
