This cache has been archived.

Team Joco: Continues to go MIA so I will archive it. Too bad as it was a gun cache.

Geocache Description:

This cache is on Centennial Trail which is a very easy walking trail. Please stay on the path - do not stray. The Sedona CENTENNIAL Trail, when completed, will be the first accessible trail built in the red rock landscape to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act with a 5 foot wide path.

The views are spectacular so don't forget your camera.
Point of interest: Cultrual Park Place Rd. was once called Compactor Rd. as this was the site of the Compactor/Dump for the City of Sedona.

To find the trail; from the "Y" in Sedona take Hwy 89A west towards Cottonwood for 4.2 miles and turn right onto Cultural Park Place Rd. (Coming from the Cottonwood area, you will turn left.) Go .2 miles and park in the last "Red Lot" on the right where you will find a ramada complete with picnic table. So bring a lunch and enjoy the views. Pack in and pack out any trash.

The cache is on the small side and has room only for the log. It is camoed well. It is NOT under the man made rock ledge. No need to disturb any of the surrounding red rocks. Bring your own writing utensil as there is no room inside the cache for pen or pencil.
