entspricht A.
STAGE 2:
helfen? Vorsicht! Bitte nichts abreißen!
STAGE 3:
Der letzte Specht ist wieder ein Schwarzspecht. In seiner Nähe
F).
Die Final-Koordinaten berechnen sich dann so:
N47° 51.[F × C × A + E × F + 2 × D - 5] und E007°
51.[B + F × E × A/2 + A + F]
English version: The Ghost of
Stampfbach
A short hiking cache with an overall distance of about 2,5 km in
the upper Muenstertal (Neuhof) and some difference in
altitude.
It's suited for the whole family but not for toddlers and not at
all for strollers.
In heavy rain the difficulty of the terrain increases to at least
3,5 stars, if there is some snow, the cache is not recommended (to
say not possible to get there).
Please take a camera with you.
Park your car at N47°51.170 E007°51.280 and follow the stream
in a northward direction.
Cross the stream at N47°51.342 E007°51.256 and follow the
"Stampfbachpfad". Now you have to find some of the foresters: a
green woodpecker, two spotted woodpeckers and a black woodpecker.
STAGE 1:
The first woodpecker is a black woodpecker. He wanted to knock you
a number, but has lost its beak when he fell off the tree some time
ago… Are you nevertheless able to find out the number?
This number is A.
STAGE 2:
The second and the third woodpecker are searching together for a
number (=B) which they haven't found yet. Can you help? Be
careful! Please don't tear off anything!
STAGE 3:
The last woodpecker is a black woodpecker again. Close to him,
you'll have to find a ghost in a tree. He is the keeper of the
third number (=C). Important! Please attend to re-hide the
object carefully.
A photo of you with the ghost in the tree would be great.
Cross the stream at the next opportunity.
STAGE 4:
Here you'll find a tablet bearing the dates and facts of the bridge
as well as the fourth number (=D).
Now follow the way along the stream until you'll reach a small
house. Unfortunately GPS receiving will become more and more
worse.
STAGE 5:
Search at the small house for the number that is E, a round thing
near an edge. Because E is a little hard to find, there is a hint
photo for this stage.
From now on, you have to go uphill, in southward direction,
until you reach a place where you may have a rest. Coordinates of
this place are calculated as follows:
N47° 51.[A × C × D × E + B - D] und E007° 51.[C² + D²
× E + B + C + D]
STAGE 6:
Just rest a little and then search for a number which gives you the
last clue to find the cache (=F).
The final coordinates are
N47° 51.[F × C × A + E × F + 2 × D - 5] und E007°
51.[B + F × E × A/2 + A + F]
Continue going uphill. Unfortunately GPS receiving is very bad
on the second half of the route. As soon as you will reach a place
which you already know, the receiving will get better. If not,
there is a hint photo of the final location.
Have fun!
