Escola de Escalada da
Guia
Situa-se 3 km a oeste do centro de Cascais, junto ao Farol da
Guia.
É um local excelente para a prática de escalada desportiva, as vias
estão localizadas
numa falésia sobre o mar, onde se pode estar a escalar e ao mesmo
tempo ouvir o som
das ondas.
É constituída por inúmeras vias de escalada que vão desde um nível
fácil (Nível III), a
níveis bem mais complicados (como várias de Nível 7). Por isso é
ideal para todos os
escaladores.
A Câmara Municipal de Cascais e a ADA Desnível têm feito uma
excelente
manutenção das vias, por isso o nível de segurança é
óptimo.
A Cache:
Para a encontrar é preciso escalar, ou fazendo um bocadinho de
batota, pelo menos fazer
rappel. Por isso o uso de material de escalada é
imprescindível.
A cache está + ou – a meio da via, o local onde ela está escondida
é obvio.
É preciso muita descrição para a procurar, não dá para fazer a
caçada com pessoas a
escalar no mesmo sector. Deve-se ir durante a semana ou ao fim de
semana muito cedo.
A cache é cilíndrica e tem 11 cm de diâmetro por 11 cm de altura,
está camuflada com o
que aprendi das caches do Daniel Oliveira :)
Quando encontrar a cache ATENÇÃO: NÃO PUXAR, empurrar para cima e
para a frente.

- Mosquetão com relógio e bússola (era do Mantunes, trouxe da
“Penedo da Amizade” mas acho que é perfeito para
deixar aqui).

Climbing School of Guia
It’s
located at 3 km west of the Cascais town-centre, near the Guia’s
Lighthouse.
It’s an excellent place to do sport climbing, the routes are
located in a cliff above the
sea, where you can climb and at the same time hear the sound of
waves.
There are a lot of climbing routes from a basic level to a
difficult one. Therefore it’s
ideal to all types of climbers.
The Municipality of Cascais and the ADA Desnível have been making
an excellent
maintenance of the routes therefore the level of security is
excellent.
The Cache:
You have to climb to found it, or at least make a rappel.
Therefore the use of climbing material it’s essential.
The cache is more or less in the middle of the route, the local is
obvious.
Stealth is required; you can’t look for the cache when other
climbers are climbing in the
same sector. You should go during the week or on the weekends in
the early morning.
The cache is cylindrical with 11 cm of diameter and 11of height,
it’s camouflaged with
the techniques that I have learned with the caches of Daniel
Oliveira :)
When you find the cache, BE CAREFUL: DO NOT PULL, you have to push
up and forwards.

- Carabiner with watch and compass (it was from Mantunes, i grabbed
it in “Penedo da Amizade” it’s perfect to leave it here).
- Sea shell
