Are you ready to walk the trench's of our WW I vets. Welcome to CAMP HUGHES PRIVATE.
OH NO THE CACH HAS BEEN MOVED BUT FROM THE MESSAGES IM GETTING IT IS VERY EASY TO FIND. IF SOMEONE CAN MOVE BACK TO DROUND ZERO IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED. I LIVE OVERSEAS NOW SO AM UNABLE. When you find this cache you will have walked through the only existing trench system in North American that was used to train soldiers for WWI. The trenchs are overgrown and caved in but you can still see exactly how they ran. The cache is an ammo tin located in the front lines. Once you've found it you can read the history and see the map that we've put in the cache (use MGRS if you want to use it, but please leave in cache). You can park at the cemetery located N49 52.805 W099 33.435. The history of these soldiers that are resting here is also in the cache. Visit the site of the buildings were the cement pads still exist is at N49 53.045 W099 32.890. Please close any gates that you may go through since a farmer rents this crown land which is Provincial Heritage Site. He may have some cows on the land that are quickly destroying this historical site.
