While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

RÆK I

Cachen er gjemt i Hisnakul-området, et kulturelt område verd et besøk. Se Andøy Turistkontor RÆK I I Andøy ble ”Ræk I” åpnet i juni 2001. Her ble en trafokiosk på Andenes utsmykket med gjenstander fra fjæra, malt i blåfarger og påsatt enkelte fine tekster. Prosjektet ble gjennomført av elever ved Kunstskolen på Andenes i samarbeid med kunstnerne Bent Aune og Ingrid Larssen.
ANDENES FYR Andenes Fyr ble åpnet i 1859, og er fortsatt i bruk, automatisert. Fyret er 40 m høyt, og har 148 innvendige trappetrinn. Det er fullt mulig å besøke fyrtårnet og du vil få en diplom som bevitner at du har vært på toppen. Sesong: Fra midten av juni til midten av august. Mer info om området på Hisnakul English;

The RÆK project were realized as a part of the Gulf Stream Cultural Lift, which began at Andenes in 2001. The art school here compleeted the project together with artists Bent Aune and Ingrid Larssen. Sundry items from the shoreline were affixed to a transformer shed in the harbour area, painted blue and decorated with words and phrases. Andenes Lighthouse Andenes Lighthouse was opened in 1859, and are still in use, automated. The lighthouse are 40 mtrs. high, and have 148 steps inside. It is possible to visit the lighthouse, and you will also receive a diploma which confirm that you have been at the top of the lighthouse. More info at Hisnakul
