The first stop is in town but continues and ends in the shadow of Mount Herman.
This is a 3-stage multi (micro/micro/small) dedicated to something I found in the bottom of a CrackerJack box (or was it an Ovaltine bottle ...). Anyway, you'll need this: "L IB AK.HBH, F GAJ KK.JCA" at the second stop.
First stop has been muggled three times so I replaced the first stop puzzle with tag - maybe this won't be worth stealing. It's an easy find.
Trails get thinner and terrain gets tougher as you go. Last 1000 "crow feet" is a pretty sparse trail so I rated it on my "bushwacker" scale (number of scrapes and scratches still oozing blood when I get back to the parking lot). Listed waypoints will get you there but I ran into two other groups of hikers near the final so there's probably an easier route.
Initial swag includes a poncho, space blanket, 5-in-1 survival tool, compass/thermometer, mini-carabiners, AA batteries, paints, silly putty, logbook, pencils and a snake.
