Tree's a Crowd Traditional Geocache
Hampk: Well, I checked this out with CreativeLisa today, and unfortunately it's far the worse for wear - lots of felling in the area and it's been well and truly uprooted..
Time for archive, I think - watch out for Tree's a Crowd Redux when repairs have been made!

Located on the fringes of Swynnerton Old Park, this cache is easily accessible from the main public right of way path, although the section of the path nearest the cache can get muddy after rain so I recommend wearing walking boots or similar.
Swynnerton Old Park is a mature forest and has been in the estate of Lord Stafford since the granting of the estate centuries ago. As such this is private land with a public right of way path running through it as part of the Hanchurch Walk, which is signposted. The land is also leased to, and managed by, the Forestry Commission and the forest is subject to periodic harvesting. Please stick to the main path and obey the warning signs when they are out. I would like to thank Helen Ellis of Lord Stafford’s Estate Office and Georgina High, Recreation Ranger, Forestry Commission (West Midlands) for their assistance and kind permission to place this cache.
I would recommend parking at the Hanchurch Hills Car Park (Staffordshire County Council) at N52 57.384 W02 14.418 as the public right of way is accessible from here and it is a nice walk through the forest. Cross back over the road and start by the Forestry Commission sign. If you park here, you will also be able to explore the Hanchurch Hills area which was originally part of Lord Stafford’s Estate but was gifted to Staffordshire County Council in 1960 for public access land.
The cache box is regular in size and the original contents include a pencil, log book, small badges, stickers and items that could be attached to a Travel Bug dog tag! Also included are several of our signature items – hand made bead bracelets (we are The Beady Bunch!). Please be careful when replacing the sealable plastic bag back into the cache box to avoid ripping the bag.
