Welcome to what may be the very first "choose your own adventure" cache! The path to the final cache container is chosen at each step by you. You must solve puzzles and use your instincts to survive the adventure. Some paths lead to dead ends where you are dramatically "killed"; others advance you forward. The choice is always yours. The only difference in the paths you choose are the puzzles and the next-stage locations. It is not necessary to do all the paths to find the final cache. But you are more than welcome to, because it is your adventure.
The puzzles are moderately challenging but not so difficult that you need to go home and look up answers or do computer research. You can make all solutions "in the field". Please do not leave your answers or clues in the containers; let the next person work out the puzzles too! I try to maintain several copies of puzzle papers in each intermediate stage container but they might become depleted. Please e-mail me if copies are getting low in any stage.THE MATERIALS IN THE FIRST STAGE CONTAINER SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED. At this initial location, write down the two optional coordinates or enter them into your GPSr.
Please do not leave trade items in any of the multi-cache stage containers since they are small and are filled with puzzles and instructions. Leave trade items in the final cache only. Due to the number of muggles in the cache adventure area, you must use caution and stealth. Make certain that you carefully place cache containers back as you found them (or replace them better, if they are exposed in any way). This sequence requires considerable maintenance because of the high muggle factor. Help me by being careful in your replacements. Thank you!!
Now get out and enjoy the cache, its fun story line, and the adventure that awaits you. Bring kids. They absolutely love this adventure story line and sequence!!
NOTE: If you choose to do the cryptograms (they are very easy) interpret your resulting coordinates using the Position Format of Degrees Minutes.Decimal Minutes (the standard Position Format used at the top of all cache pages). Do NOT use Degrees Minutes Seconds.
