Trudperts Vermächtnis
Um 640 kam der iro-schottische Missionar Trudpert ins Münstertal. An der Stelle seines gewaltsamen Todes entstand im Jahr 800 das erste rechtsrheinische Benediktinerkloster mit barocker Pfarrkirche, das bis 1806 bestand. Die noch weitgehend erhaltene barocke Klosteranlage entstand ab dem Jahr 1715. Seit 1919 ist das Kloster Mutterhaus der "Schwestern vom hl. Josef in St. Trudpert"
Fast tausend Jahre lang - von der Einweihung der ersten Klosteranlage im Jahre 815 bis zur Säkularisation im Jahre 1806 - war das Kloster St. Trudpert der kulturelle, politische, kirchliche und wirtschaftliche Mittelpunkt des Münstertales und gleichzeitig Ausgangspunkt der Christianisierung im Südschwarzwald.

Die Barocke Pfarrkirche der Klosteranlage St. Trudpert ist täglich außerhalb der Gottesdienste für Besichtigungen geöffnet. Trudpert's Legacy
Around the year 640 an Irish-Scottish missionary called Trudpert arrived at Muenstertal. In the year 800 the first Benedictine monastery with Baroque church on the right side of the Rhine came into existence at the place where Trudpert was violently killed. The monastery existed until 1806. The well-preserved Baroque construction was formed from the year 1715 on. Since 1919 the monastery is the mother house of the religious order of the "Sisters of St. Josef in St. Trudpert".
For a long period of time – nearly 1000 years from the inauguration of the monastery in the year 815 to the secularisation in the year 1806 - St. Trudpert was the cultural, political, churchy and economical centre of the Muenstertal and also the point of origin of the Christianisation in the south of the Black Forest.
